Saturday 8 April, Norwich Arts Centre, 7pm – 2am.
If you’ve never been to a GRL DEM event, you’re in for a treat. It’s a Spring-themed extravaganza of live music, DJs, visuals, themed décor, interactive art and fancy dress, at Norwich Arts Centre on Sat 8th April.
With DJs playing an eclectic mix of Disco, Funk, Garage, Dancehall, Jungle, Tropical Bass, Bootlegs & Mashups, there’s music for all tastes, hosted by drag artist Kylie M’Hoe who will perform a lip sync and dance.
The night features special guest DJ – Effy Mai and GRL DEM DJs Kaftan Kidson, Hellish, Bassbint, Franny McPhee and DJ Hickseylix.

And if that wasn’t enough, there is live music by Kimberley Moore, spoken word artist Edalia Day, and singing duo ‘The Girl Means Business’. LED UV Festival Performers, themed visuals from Captain Paxo and interactive art.
Don’t forget to get creative with your Easter bonnets, bunnies, lambs, and flowers. You can win prizes for the best Spring/Easter-themed outfits.

GRL DEM is curated by DJs Laura and Frances, and was set up as an antidote to the seriousness of the Norwich club scene. They host sell-out nights at Norwich Arts Centre and perform at UK festivals, with no chin-stroking or seriousness in sight.
GRL DEM isn’t just a DJ collective – they won’t rest until they achieve music equality and raise the profile of women and girl DJs. Running DJ workshops, their graduates range from teenagers to retired teachers.
All genders and ages (18+) welcome at this event.
Tickets £11 in advance (plus booking fee) £13 on the door (18 yrs +)
