Life In A Fine City's guide to Wild Paths festival 2019

This October, thousands of music lovers will descend on Norwich for a brand new city-wide festival. Here’s all you need to know…

So what’s all the fuss? Wild Paths is an exciting new multi-venue festival which is taking place across Norwich very soon.

When is it? Wild Paths runs from Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th October 2019.

Where is it? Right across Norwich. Some well known venues are taking part plus shops, bars and cafes too.

So what kind of music can I expect? Literally everything! From Indie to Disco from Folk to House – you’ll get the gist of it from their dedicated Spotify playlist here.

So who’s playing? There’s well over 200 acts but here’s a start. José González , Simian Mobile Disco (DJ), Friendly Fires (DJ), The Magic Gang, Franc Moody, Crazy P (DJ), Gengahr, Puma Blue, Ruby Rushton, Skinny Pelembe, Black Honey, Heavy Lungs, Etta Bond, Demob Happy, Anna Meredith and of course many more besides… For the full line up, check the festival clashfinder here

Sounds great! Anything else we should know? Alongside the music there’s also Wild Paths themed after-parties, drinks and networking events, open bowling parties, live art instillations and discussion panels (featuring festival artists and key figures from the music industry) including Radio1’s Phil Taggart. Looks like a long weekend. We’re guessing there’s food and drink? For sure! Event organisers have teamed up with lots of great local independents and there will be Wild Paths cocktails, beer and coffee too. There’s also lots of excellent affordable food on offer from pop-ups to local cafes and stalls.

So how much are tickets and where do we get them from? The different pass and ticketing options at Wild Paths will allow you to build your own unique festival experience. Prices vary but you can buy a weekend pass, a day pass or simply select a handful of tickets for your favourite events.
